Call Darlene

Terms of Service

These are the rules for using Call Darlene. We kept them as plain as we could. By signing up or using the app, you agree to them.

Who we are

Call Darlene is made and run by Chaos to Clarity Digital Consulting LLC (C2C Digital), a Michigan company. "We" and "us" means C2C Digital. "You" means the shop that signs up and the people it adds to its app.

Your account

Each shop gets its own app. The person who signs up is the owner of that account and is responsible for who they add to it and what they do in it. Keep your sign-in private. If you think someone got into your account, tell us right away.

You need to be at least 18 and running a real business to sign up.

Plans and billing

The Free plan is free for one person, with no card needed. Paid plans are a flat monthly price for the whole shop based on how many people can sign in. We never charge per user. Current prices are on our pricing section.

Paid plans renew every month on the same date until you cancel. Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your full card number. Prices don't include sales tax where tax applies.

If we ever change a price, we'll email the account owner at least 30 days before it affects your bill.

If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. If it still fails after the retries, the paid plan is canceled and your shop moves to the Free plan. Your data stays put, and you can upgrade again any time.

Changing plans and canceling

You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time in Settings, Plan. Upgrades start right away and you pay the difference for the rest of the month. When you cancel, you keep your paid plan until the end of the month you already paid for, then move to Free.

We don't give refunds for partial months. If something went wrong on our end, reach out and we'll make it right.

Your data is yours

Everything you put in your app, like customers, jobs, schedules, photos, quotes and invoices, belongs to you. We only use it to run your app, keep it backed up and help you when you ask. We don't sell it and we don't use it to advertise to you or your customers.

Want a copy of your data? Ask and we'll send it. If you close your account, we delete your app and its data within 60 days, unless the law says we have to keep something longer.

You're responsible for having permission to add your customers' info and to contact them through the app, including texts, emails and messages.

Using it fairly

Don't use Call Darlene to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, or try to break into the app or someone else's account. Don't resell it or copy it. If an account is doing any of that, we can suspend it.

Other services we use

The app runs with help from a few trusted companies: hosting, email delivery, payments (Stripe), and an AI service for the website chat assistant. If you connect your own accounts, like Facebook, Instagram or Google, their rules apply to that connection too.

Uptime and changes

We work hard to keep the app up and your data safe, and we back it up regularly. Even so, things sometimes break, and we can't promise the app will never go down or never have a bug. We're always improving Call Darlene, so features may change. If we take away something you pay for, we'll tell you first.

The legal part

Call Darlene is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, C2C Digital isn't liable for lost profits, lost jobs, or indirect damages from using or not being able to use the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

These terms are governed by Michigan law. If we ever have a dispute, we'll try to work it out directly first.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email the account owner and update the date below. Keeping on using the app after that means you're okay with the new terms.
